The Great East Swim is a 1 mile swim in open water, It is taking place on June 11th.
As part of my stubborness to achive what anyone else can...I have entered, I will start my trianing as of tomorrow, the main problem I have with this is that, at the gym I focus on alot of heavy lifting which has given me a decent amount of muscle mass.
Which is good normally but it is making me to heavy for the long distance swim,
I will be staying at the gym throughout my training but I will be doing alot of cutting down, rducing my body fat and working more on muscle tone.
To help keep track of my progress I will be posting pictures of myself on here every 2 weeks, so everyone please feel free to comment or ask questions about my training programme or my diet.
Hi guys Im fairly new to this blogging thing but i thought id give it a try and tell you abit about myself and try and help you all out with any fitness questions you might have or whatever can that relates to my blog.

Lets start with telling you where I am at.
Hi guys
I designed this blog to try and help any of you that might be struggeling to achive some of you fitness goals.
Although I dont have the shiney bit of paper that says ive been to college to learn all of this, ive read crap loads of health mags and have had the best experiance of all which is living what im telling you.
So please feel free to ask me questions on diet , workouts , or if you need any advise.
Alot of people ask me why I workout, I tell them that it makes me feel better about myself...which it does to a point, But the main reason is that I saw a picture of myself a couple of years ago and i didnt like what I saw.
I always put off working out because I had an "excuse", when I was 14 I was diagnosed with arthritis in my hips, but after thinking about this for a short while I realised that there is no need for excuses and I now always tell myself that I can do what anybody else can, so I hit the gym and made it my personal mission to scult my body into the way I wanted it, Its a working progress but im getting there and I want to share my journey with you guys so that people in a similar situation can see it can be done, no matter what disabilities you may have, We Can All Succeed.
